BikeRight Is Out of Beta — Plus Live Activities & Dynamic Island
BikeRight was built around one idea: you should be able to explore your city by bike without worrying about ending up on a four-lane road with no shoulder. You tell us how far you want to ride, and we generate random loop routes that maximize bike lanes, multi-use paths, and quiet streets — scored and ranked by safety so the best route is always front and centre.
Today we have three pieces of news.
Beta is over. Everyone's invited.
For the past few months, BikeRight has been in beta with a smaller group of testers helping us iron out the details. That phase is officially done. BikeRight is now available to anyone on the App Store.
A huge thank-you to every beta tester who filed reports, suggested features, and put real kilometres on the routes we generated. You made this app dramatically better and we're grateful.
Ride with your screen locked
This update introduces Live Activities and Dynamic Island support. Your next turn, distance remaining, and ride progress now live on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — visible at a glance without unlocking your phone or switching apps.
Lock your screen and keep your eyes on the road. When a turn is coming up, it's right there. Cycling with BikeRight just got a lot more natural.
Free. No catch.
BikeRight is completely free. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads. We built it because we wanted safer cycling routes for ourselves, and we think you deserve them too. Download it, pick your distance, and go discover your city's best cycling infrastructure.
